The businesses of Dublin need the support of our community.
Support Dublin was developed during COVID-19 to support small businesses in Dublin. They still need our support, now, more than ever. Local businesses are the backbone of Dublin’s economy, but a rise in costs and high inflation pose big risks to their future. Support Dublin is a place for us to get together, find the best way to support our favourite local businesses and initiatives and do our bit to strengthen our community.
The businesses of Dublin need the support of our community.
So many people, families and businesses have been affected by COVID-19 and the closures that were necessary for all of our safety. Support Dublin is a place for us to get together, find the best way to support our favourite local businesses and initiatives and do our bit to strengthen our community.
Support a Local Business
Under each tab below are our local businesses, those run by our friends, our families and our neighbours. Information on supporting these businesses is beside each. This might be leaving an online review, ordering online or sharing a referral. Each business has different needs and different ways you can help.
We bring love to people’s lives. Finding love is a huge challenge today! Young to old all are experiencing social disconnection and all the old ways of meeting new loves have disappeared. But look around the corner, there are people meeting and connecting. Interestingly it’s all happening outside which is a good thing as you get to see people in real light of day!
We are super busy matching all age groups and arranging dates in parks, outdoor cafes and hiking events. Romance is alive and everyone deserves love, so talk to the matchmaking experts at 2CONNECT.IE and they will guide you on your dating journey. Give someone the gift of love!
We arrange real world face-to-face dates and have an amazing offer for anyone single, separated, divorced or widowed. For a limited time we are offering 3 Real World Face-to-Face dates for only €99. This normally costs €500 but we have a massive singles database and can match people quickly.
We’re Going Online
In the theatre community we physically come together to create and share our work. The social distancing in place at the moment stops us from doing this, but this will not stop us creating opportunities to hear and share Ireland’s artistic voice.
In these unprecedented times, we have invited 50 writers from around the country each to write a monologue, to be performed by 50 actors. The writers include Blindboy, Deirdre Kinahan, Rosaleen McDonagh, Frank McGuinness, Enda Walsh & Carmel Winters. All of Dear Ireland’s 50 writers will be announced next week and the 50 actors will be announced in due course. In April, we will present each recorded piece of work on our digital channels, capturing a moment in time to share our thoughts through creative conversation. More information will be available here. We hope you will join us.
