Nicola Anthony Studios is a small team of artists and designers led by Dublin-based sculptor Nicola Anthony. Our mission is to create meaningful objects and artworks which spark curiosity, wonder, and open up the mind to new ways of thinking.
We provide artwork commissions, public art and creative workshops for individuals, organisations, and corporate clients.
Working mainly in metal sculpture, text art or drawing, we love to create art to be enjoyed in our home of Ireland, but have also launched big projects in Aspen, Singapore, Colorado, London, and Yangon in recent months (pre pandemic).
We also work with local communities and isolated groups to use art as a medium for connection and compassion. Studio Director Nicola recently worked with isolated communities across Ireland to create an exhibition about the experience of loneliness, debuted in Enniscorthy, Wexford, called ‘A Desire For Closeness’. Previous projects explore stories of migration to and from Ireland.
Whilst currently not at our usual premises, we are still open for business online or just give us a call! The pandemic has of course affected our income streams, so we really appreciate any small support from the community right now in keeping our studio going and ensuring that the spirit of innovation and creativity in Ireland can weather this storm.

Custom Illustrated Books
One Time Before allows an adult to take a trip down memory lane with this customisable, beautifully illustrated book that puts them and a child in the story when they were the same age as that child.
The website is very straightforward to build the book on, users simply customise their own characters, selecting from hair colour and style to skin tone. They then choose the decade when they were that child’s age from the ’50s, 60’s, 70’s and 90’s and the illustrations throughout the book will automatically update. The user can add in the adult and child’s name, as well as a unique message on a special dedication page. Before purchasing, users can see a preview of the book before they buy.
