The businesses of Dublin need the support of our community.

Support Dublin was developed during COVID-19 to support small businesses in Dublin. They still need our support, now, more than ever. Local businesses are the backbone of Dublin’s economy, but a rise in costs and high inflation pose big risks to their future. Support Dublin is a place for us to get together, find the best way to support our favourite local businesses and initiatives and do our bit to strengthen our community.

The businesses of Dublin need the support of our community.

So many people, families and businesses have been affected by COVID-19 and the closures that were necessary for all of our safety. Support Dublin is a place for us to get together, find the best way to support our favourite local businesses and initiatives and do our bit to strengthen our community.

Support a Local Business

Under each tab below are our local businesses, those run by our friends, our families and our neighbours. Information on supporting these businesses is beside each. This might be leaving an online review, ordering online or sharing a referral. Each business has different needs and different ways you can help.

Martins Off Licence
Off License

A D3 fixture since 1978, Martin’s Off-Licence is one of Dublin’s leading independent off-licences.

Opened by Tom Martin over forty years ago, the business is very much a family affair. Tom’s sons Declan and Damian now run the show from the same shop where it all started, opposite Fairview Park a stone’s throw from Dublin city centre.

With decades of expert knowledge between them, the Martin’s team can help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Their shelves are stacked with specialist wines, beers and spirits from the best of local and international producers. And if it’s not in store (unlikely), they know exactly where to source it for you.

Whether it’s wines for a wedding, beers for a BBQ or something for a quiet night in, Martin’s Off-Licence can cater for any occasion. Drop into the Fairview shop for a chat, or if you’re further afield, just pick up the phone or order online.

Stillgarden Distillery
Independent Distillery

Stillgarden Distillery is a new Independent distillery at the heart of the community in Inchicore, Dublin 8. Everything they do is with purpose, allowing science, nature and a sense of curiosity to inspire great tasting spirits and unique experiences.

The Stillgarden team are very much community focused, and have created a garden for local people on their site in Inchicore. An area of derelict wasteland has been cleared of litter and planted with seasonal botanicals to be used in their products. Being a curious bunch, Stillgarden also use cold vacuum distillation to capture the fresh flavours of their socially sourced botanicals to create unique and experimental spirits.
Stillgarden have just launched Ireland’s first community sourced gin called SOCIAL GIN.

Other products include a seasonal product called XMAS CAKE GIN and Ireland’s first AMARO just in time for Christmas.
We also have a range of bottled cocktails and a rhubarb vodka. Gift boxes are also available.
